Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of High Country, we are the highest town East of the Rocky Mountains sitting 5506′ above sea level. Beech Mountain boasts spectacular endless mountain views, fresh air, fun sightings of the many deer and maybe even a glimpse of our local bear family! Your hosts at Pinnacle Inn look forward to sharing our cozy convenient spaces and invite you to explore all you can while in our special quaint town.
Our year-round resort offers individually owned ski suite studios (sleeps up to 4), one-bedroom units (sleeps up to 4) and two-bedroom units (sleeps up to 6) with different unique styles for every desired taste. All units are complete with kitchens, private balconies (some with a second large deck), WiFi, cozy living rooms, quick response time from your individual host, simple self check-in, fireplaces, convenient parking and much more.
During your stay at Pinnacle you will have full access to the resort’s amenities including our year round indoor heated pool, hot tub, saunas, small upstairs workout area, pool table and ping pong. Head outside and play tennis or pickleball on our outdoor courts. Let the little ones run around the playground surrounded by mountains or grab putters from the office to play a little mini golf. There is also a convenient EV charging less than a minute away.
While friends and family may be bringing you to town, take time to enjoy the numerous hiking trails, resort events, farm to table restaurants, fun family attractions, and several award winning breweries and vineyards. If you are attending an event at the beautiful Overlook Barn, we are a quick two minute car ride away.

Mountain Resort
Mountain biking/hiking in the summer; skiing/boarding in the winter. Beech Mountain Ski Resort is the ultimate destination on the mountain. Take the lift to the 5506’ Bar for a drink with endless views and live music (Schedule applies). Walk down the mountain playing disc golf. Want to take it easy? Visit the onsite brewery for a pint and bite.
Mountain Coaster
The Wilderness Run Alpine Mountain Coaster is so much fun for all ages! It is open year round and I suggest the 3-pack since you get braver each time. Book your time slot online ahead of time.
Trails
The Emerald Outback at Beech Mountain is a year-round destination for hikers, trail runners and mountain bikers. Trail maps can be found.
